It’s highly addictive, and you’ll just stay up all night playing ping pong and grinding your teeth, then you’ll have a massive headache in the morning. Not that I’d know. Oh, and it’s really expensive… you won’t be able to afford an addiction to clothes and cocaine.” I heeded her advice.

Moved out of my apartment in NYC today and I feel entirely liberated. No more hiding food from the roommate, or dealing with the crazy third roommate (who owns the apartment, but lives in Woodstock)… and no more dealing with the slowest, most random elevators in all of Upper East Side history.  An odd thing to complain about? No! Yesterday I got in the elevator and hit 12. We stopped at the 10th floor, then went back down to the basement, where we lingered for a solid five minutes before the elevator started to go up again. Thankfully, my LA place is on the third floor of a three-floor condo complex. I can just take the stairs.
